Programmes
With our diverse expertise, we create a unique synergy for students and researchers in (paramedical) care, preventive lifestyles, sport, exercise, and nutrition. The Faculty of Health, Sport and Physical Activity operates from 2 locations, focusing on different areas of Amsterdam: the Health Campus in Zuidoost and the Sport & Nutrition Campus in Nieuw-West.
Research
Professors from the Faculty of Health, Sport, and Physical Activity conduct practice-based research into questions and issues from real-world practice. The results include knowledge, insights, products, and services that contribute to innovation, solving societal challenges, and the renewal of our education. The Centre for Applied Research Faculty Health, Sport and Physical Activity is the strategic, organisational, and policy-based home for all our professors and their research.

Dean Faculty of Health, Sport and Physical Activity
Nynke van Dijk is dean at the Faculty of Health, Sport and Physical Activity. Since 2015, she has been professor of Medical Education & Training at Amsterdam UMC, AMC location.
