Initiator Smart Health and Vitality Lab - Lecturer/Researcher European School of Physiotherapy (ESP)Dr Jesse Aarden received his PhD on 1 June 2022 from the Departments of Rehabilitation and Eldercare at Amsterdam UMC, location AMC. Within his PhD, he focused on the impact of acute hospitalisation on elderly people's functioning after discharge. View his thesis .
Jesse Aarden is responsible for the Smart Health and Vitality Lab, part of the Centre of Expertise Applied Artificial Intelligence of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The aim of this lab: to facilitate Artificial Intelligence within education and research and to train (future) professionals in the field of technology and AI.
Furthermore, Jesse Aaden works as a lecturer at the European School of Physiotherapy (ESP), part of the Physiotherapy programme of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. ESP is an English-language physiotherapy programme.
Jesse Aarden studied Physiotherapy at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and then followed the Master of Science in Health Sciences at Maastricht University.
