Daniël Bossen associate professor eHealth and Exercise Behaviour, AUAS

Daniël Bossen is associate lector eHealth & Exercise behaviour. He conducts practical research on underlying interactions between exercise, behavioural influence and technology. He is also a senior lecturer in the Interprofessional Paramedical Care (IPZ) track. He has a background in physiotherapy and health sciences.

About Daniël Bossen

Daniël Bossen is an associate professor in eHealth & Exercise Behaviour, affiliated with the Functional Exercise Therapy research group. As a researcher, he contributes to the SPRONG programme People in Motion, where he links knowledge about healthy eating and exercise with strategies to influence behaviour through technology.

From 2014 to 2023, Daniël was a senior lecturer in the Functional Exercise programme at the AUAS. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the AUAS in 2007 and his Master's degree in Health Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) in 2009. In 2014, he completed his PhD at Tilburg University. Afterward, Daniël worked as a postdoctoral researcher at NIVEL and Amsterdam UMC.
