Entrepreneurship
Digital technology & sustainability of educational escape rooms
Internally Funded
A key educational benefit of educational escape rooms is that their physical form and game-like characteristics enhance students' motivation to a greater extent than other forms of game-based learning. A challenge in the design process for this pedagogy is how to make the designs sustainable and adaptable while maintaining -or even enhancing- the learning benefits for entrepreneurship education. The use of digital technologies plays a vital role in this direction.
In this project, the Professorship of Entrepreneurship partnered with the Digital Society School. The project took months, and methods included a comprehensive literature review and focus group interviews. The deliverables were reports on the state-of-the-art and recommendations about developments of sustainable EERs for entrepreneurship education.
This project is completed in 2020.
