Who shape tomorrow's society?

Femke likes working on images that have a deeper meaning. “As a girl I was already writing stories, but on this course I discovered that I also really enjoy photography and video. I like discovering new things - and you can do so much with images!” But in Femke’s view, images alone are not enough. The psychological and philosophical aspects make things much more interesting. “I’m a big fan of the film director Christopher Nolan. His images pose indirect questions and make you think.”

Femke would like to achieve the same thing. “I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick. I love the idea that you can provoke people with your work and make them think about your story.”
