Import publication details automatically into Pure

Researchers are expected to register their research output in Pure, AUAS' research registration system. Pure is used to create reports for annual reports and research evaluations. It is therefore important that you enter your research output - publications, datasets, activities and grants - correctly and on time. Registered research output is also displayed on your personal profile page and partly included in the AUAS repository, the AUAS Research Database.

Switch on automatic import in Pure

Did you know that research output can largely be read automatically in Pure? This can be done using the automated search. If you have this activated, the function will search various databases - such as Scopus, PubMed or ADS - for your (author's) name and import data from recognised publications into Pure as 'import candidates'. You can then import or reject these. You add important additional data, such as department or open file, yourself.

More precision with person IDs

Adding a Scopus Author ID and/or ORCID to your profile in Pure instantly activates the automated search and makes it work even better. These personal (unique) identifiers - or IDs - provide more precision in finding publications on your name; it does avoid name confusion. In addition, these IDs also help with automatically importing dataset records via Data Monitor.
