Year 2, 3 and 4

Through our innovative curriculum, you can customise your programme by choosing electives, specialisations or up to two additional languages.

Year 2

Customise your second year by choosing four elective modules, including the opportunity to study a second business language, such as Spanish, Mandarin or Japanese. Strengthen your business aptitude further by taking modules on Change Management and International Business Law. Participate in a real-life hands-on team competition for the best business case in the second semester.

Year 3

Major in one of five tracks, such as Language & Culture Immersion, where you will learn an additional business language such as Mandarin, French or Spanish.

You will study abroad through a global exchange at one of our 140+ outstanding partner universities like Nanyang Business School in Singapore. Or choose a minor, such as Building partnerships in China or Latin American Business Studies.

In year 3 you will choose a minor. Minors are half-year (one semester) programmes in which you deepen or broaden your knowledge. You can choose one of the minor programmes offered by the AUAS, or select a programme at a different (international) university.

Year 4

During your last year, you will follow four final modules (online or live) such as Academic Research and Writing and Advanced Leadership Development and start an internship at a company abroad or at a multinational in the Netherlands such as Google, Nike or Booking.com.

In the second semester of your final year, you will write your thesis while working at a company as a consultant in the making, or conduct an applied business research assignment at our Centre for Entrepreneurial Dynamics and International Strategy (CEDIS).

The thesis is a unique assignment. It requires an integration of knowledge, application of theory to a real business problem and original research to support the solution.
