'On a personal level the Master Sport, Management and Leadership provided me with the opportunity to develop specialised knowledge in more specific sports fields I was interested in. I developed key skills in analysis, critical thinking, and in-depth research. When first applying for entry level jobs within the sport industry, none of the companies required a Master's degree. Having one did not seem to set me apart. I questioned if one was needed within our industry.   

When applying for my second job, the Master made a significant difference. Roles I was now applying for, often asked for one and during interviews this was often asked and discussed. It demonstrated a level of thinking which helped me advance through job application process. Because of my post-graduate degree, I am in my current role at Zelus; the exclusive Nike Inc. authorized Licensee for Team Sports. In my daily work as marketplace manager, it helps me to better understand and work on complex projects. It will also help me in my ambition to grow within the company.'
