Designing products circularly, with the highest possible quality, and reusing discarded products and materials is the focus of the research group Circular Design and Business at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. The research group is investigating which new ways of designing and producing products, and doing business best fit this purpose.

Professor
Professor of Circular Design & Business
Inge Oskam has been a professor at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) since 2007 and has led the Circular Design & Business research group since 2015. Besides being a lecturer at the AUAS, Oskam is Programme Director of Circollab, a member of the KIA-CE focus group and leader of the circular economy theme within the AUAS's Energy & Sustainability Dialogue table.
Marta Malé-Alemany
Associate professor of Digital Production & Lab Lead Robot Lab
Marta is Associate professor of Digital Production at the Faculty of Technology of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Together with the Digital Production Research Group, she investigates how advanced design and manufacturing technologies - also known as “digital production” - can help address societal issues.
