Functional Recovery from Cancer and its Treatment
The care and rehabilitation of cancer patients
Increasing numbers of people are living with the effects of cancer and its associated treatments. This often leads to reduced activity and difficulties with social participation. The Functional Recovery in Cancer research group focuses on improving care at all stages of cancer treatment. The aim is to better prepare patients for their treatment, to help them endure it as well as possible, and to optimise their recovery.
