To realise its mission, Youth Spot opts for knowledge development based on a partnership approach in the triangle of professional field, education and science. The professionalisation process and the role of practice-based research within it are explicitly thematised. Youth Spot's ambition is to implement all projects in mixed teams of youth workers, teachers, researchers and students, which result in useful outputs for the triangle of science, professional field and education. Moreover, a critical youth panel (Young Narratives) is in the works. Youth Spot also organises work conferences, holds workshops, lectures and guest seminars, creates teaching materials and methodology descriptions, and publishes books and articles.
