The Art of Making
The perfect programme for those passionate about design and product creation that takes you from initial sketches to producing market-ready designs. The focus is not just on the aesthetics of design, but also on the hands-on creation of prototypes and small series of actual products.
Programme Outline
- Credits: 30 ECTS
- Educational format: competency-based learning within a peer feedback environment
- Term: spring semester, from beginning of February until mid-July
Important dates
Spring semester
- Mandatory introduction & kick-off: first week of February
- Start programme: first week of February
- End programme: last week of June / first week of July
Notes
At the end of this exchange programme you will:
- Have a deep understanding of product materialization;
- Have the ability to either manufacture or design tools;
- Have hands-on experience in building functional prototypes;
- Have the ability to articulate and defend design decisions;
- Be proficient in giving and receiving feedback from peers and future employers.
