Housing for students with a disability

If you have a disability and are looking for suitable housing modifications to your accommodation, here is a list of organisations that can help.

Visit Studentenwoningweb and ROOM.nl for independent and shared student accommodation offered by studenthousing providers such as Lieven De Key and DUWO. Although these platforms offer no assisted living or any modifications, you may still find accommodation there that meets your needs. Please keep in mind that these are waiting time based platforms and it will take up to a few years to be able to secure housing.

If you do require assisted living accommodation, you can send an email to Lieven De Key or DUWO for more information.

Temporary AUAS housing for international students with a disability

If you are an international student who is eligible for AUAS Housing, please contact AUAS Housing as soon as you know you will start your studies at the AUAS. More information can be found on our housing pages.

If you are planning to stay in the Netherlands for a longer period of time, this page might help. Here you can find more tips on finding accommodation with a disability, but unfortunately only in Dutch.
