Future Charging
ProjectThe Netherlands' ambition is to allow only electric cars onto the market in 12 years' time. How are we going to supply all these cars with electricity? In the Future Charging project Urban Technology are investigating this. The research project facilitates and accelerates the introduction of large-scale electric driving. For the sector, the developments present great opportunities, but certainly also a challenge: how can the parties involved realise the charging infrastructure to power all those cars? And how does this fit in with the streetscape: will the streets soon be full of charging stations?
