Sultan Göksen-Olgun is a teacher trainer in Economics at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, at the Education and Pedagogic domain. She is responsible for teaching courses in general economics, didactics, pedagogy, entrepreneurship and related subjects. She is also a PPO supervisor/mentor and coaches students in cross-curricular projects, internships, aptitude tests and graduation theses.

Sultan is pursuing her PhD on Entrepreneurship Education in Secondary Education at Maastricht University since 2020-2021, after being awarded the NWO PhD grant for teachers.

Sultan also works as a researcher at the knowledge center of the Faculty of Business and Economics at AUAS. Here Sultan has co-written/collaborated on the projects such as: UNLOCK: Creativity in HEIs through a game design approach, (Universidade de Aveiro, Portugal) and IXAnext: Unlock your entrepreneurial potential (Educational Escape Rooms).

Besides working at AUAS, she is a columnist for the Journal of Economics Education.
