Social Entrepreneurship
In the social entrepreneurship lab, we conduct research aiming to find solutions to practical issues in the social enterprise sector. We have studied social enterprises and their relations with governmental organizations (Maarten Hogenstijn) and social entrepreneurship in relation to social inclusion of refugees (Nesrien Abu Ghazaleh) and are pursuing new research related to the health sector and to impact measurement. Our goal is to both use our knowledge to strengthen the social enterprise sector ánd inspire and inform students about social entrepreneurship.
WHY SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
Solving societal problems while doing business – that’s the inspiring world of social entrepreneurship. We believe in the future of social entrepreneurship, a world in which entrepreneurs do not merely make money but also make a positive societal
impact.
